DEAR FRIENDS ...

Dear Friends, I will write in English from now on, because almost all Italian people understand English, like everybody else all around the world.

I stayed several months without giving any news, due to personal troubles. I have been knocked down for a while, but I’m up again now, “running in form and full of….stamina”, like American people used to say, several years ago. So girls, you are advised: if you are young and pretty and you come to my place, be prepared to a strong attack from my side. You know: the old lion wants fresh meet… Stop joking now and lets speak about serious matters. I stopped breading since last March, but a new litter is coming now, right in these days, from Caradura de Vianini and Iguarà de Vianini, while two more litters will arrive soon in April, from Caradura crossed with Guerrera Segunda and from Iguazù crossed with Crisol. Caradura, according to my opinion, is a dogo right like a dogo should be, both under a physical and a mental point of view. Light dog, electric dog, very good athletic animal, with a lot of temper and energetic. A true, original, working animal, optimal for several sports and games. I am using him like main stallion now because I want to breed true dogos, and not big white dogs, that are just useful for pictures and beauty shows.

The two females I crossed with Caradura are also light and energetic bitches and, like the most of my dogs, they have really strong legs and powerful muscles. I am trying to recuperate the lost time, by selecting working dogs, rich in temper, with a lot of wind and capable to do the things they have been selected for. A kind of big pit bulls, just for making easier for you to understand what I mean.Iguazù is a bigger dogo, comparing to Caradura, but he is very energetic too, and really strong. Very good hunter, with a lot of natural wind. Impressive animal. Crisol comes from my oldest lines. She’s a nice girl, sweet mother and temper. I trust very much this combination.

Beside the dogos, I am breeding a new breed, step by step, every day closer to the final target. In my opinion this new breed will be a very specific breed, only for sporting, and by “sporting” I mean hunting the wild boar on our mountains with good results. Rosso vs. Puma: this is my last step, something people working with me was expecting since the beginning of the project. Next will be Man vs. Angiolina, another important step.To catch this purpose, hunting in our mountains, we need an animal lighter than dogo , capable to follow a track on the terrain, easy to bark when he feel the track, very fast, strong, with an unbelievable gameness and, most of all, with such a wind that we could say: he never last…..

But we have to wait at least three more years, before to see the first prototype of this new breed. In the while, some good dogo is coming out from de Vianini kennel.

So long.Paolo Vianini
